 CAPTAIN'S TOURNAMENT

Heart of Texas APA has been awarded 1 spot in Vegas for our Captain's Tournament. The tournament details are as follows:

Starting @ 10:00 am
Doors open @ 9:00 am
Players meeting @ 9:45 am
We will be running the Vegas format which consists of 3/4 person teams with a max skill level of 15. Three people playing per match. It is a pretty fun format if you have never played.
The price is $250 per team and will need to be paid before the tournament starts 

 Payments accepted: Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, or CASH before the tournament starts
Qualifications are as follows:
The total of the skill levels of the 3 players fielded in any team match cannot exceed 15.
A player’s highest skill level between formats (8-Ball & 9-Ball) must be used towards the 15-Rule. Exception – skill level 8/9s will count as 7s in this tournament.
Only one player of skill level 6 or higher, sometimes referred to as a senior skill level player, may play in any given match.
Players may only participate on one team.
Players must a player from the Heart of Texas APA
Modified Single Elimination Format
Alternate between 8-Ball & 9-Ball racks, starting with 8-Ball. Each individual rack is worth one team point.
Games Must Win chart will be used.
Players must have at least twenty (20) 8-Ball scores or twenty (20) 9-Ball scores within the last two (2) years by the entry deadline of June 30, 2023. A combination of scores from the two formats is not allowed.
Players must have completed two (2) sessions as a Team Captain of a standard 8-Ball, 9-Ball, or Ladies team in the 2022/2023 League year in the area the team represents. Alternate Divisions with 20 or more matches scheduled for play over the course of the division’s qualifying year will be considered equivalent to (2) sessions of standard 8-Ball, 9-Ball, or Ladies, thus their Team Captains will be eligible.
Players must have played at least four (4) times in the Spring Session in the League area the team represents. Matches played can be in either the standard 8-Ball, 9-Ball or Ladies formats.
Players must be/stay on an active (Summer Session) APA roster as a captain to play in Vegas
